95 240sx obd1 or 2?

how do i check?
the car has a sr20 so any responses about look for a 2nd O2 censor etc wont work.

and yes they made both obd1 and obd2 models that year

i heard there is away to check with the vin but no real answer for that yet.

basically a guy wants to buy my car and the state he lives in has emissions testing. so correct me if im wrong but if the car is obd1 then they do a sniffer test and if its obd2 they plug in the diagnostic correct?

OBD plug beside the hood release = OBD-II.
OBD plug below the glovebox, towards the console = OBD-I.

i did a couple searches but its hard to match up when people use obd1 or obd 1 and 95 instead of 1995 etc
