Hey guys, first i just want to say yes i have read and found what i was looking for i just dont really understand it!!!! So, I have a 90 240sx that is almost ready for a DE swap and im lacking a few things and the power steering is part of it. 1st:Does it matter if the lines come from a S13 or a S14? 2nd: Do I need the pump, and reservoir, or just the reservoir and lines? 3rd: I know i move the reservoit to the right side(driver side) of the engine bay but is the pump still located in the same position as in the KA24E? Thank You for any response!!!!

Okay buddy check it.

If you have an s13 and want to do the dohc swap

-you need DOHC PS Pump
-Dohc power steering lines, Unless you want to bend the lines your currently have and re-route them to the side of your PS resevoir.

(btw. dont lose the ps line washers. they should be bronze, but they are a bit rare to find )
if you have an s13-then s13 ps lines are preffered!
if you have an s14 then s14 ps lines are preffered!

If you want to plug the ps and n/a it.
then Unbolt the lines from the rack, move your wheels and let the ps fluid splash everywhere, plug up the rack with a custom bolt...

correct me if i'm wrong anyone!!

and come to the party thread!!

Agreed^^ the powerstering pump mounts on the otherside, it's easier to get the dohc pump and mounting bracket. You will need the hard lines going to the stering rack to the res from a dohc car. change them out with the motor out, I wouldn't atempt it with the motor in.
For the hardlines s13/s14 doesn't matter. I don't know if the p/s pump will work from the s14, some one chime in on it please. I would go with s13 parts to be sure.

Were rockin this thread now!!!All three of us!!! LOL

Pump is the same for all 91-98s. The lines are different though, as is the reservoir. You can make S14 parts work with a little bracketry and drilling, or use S13 and bolt right in with zero effort.
