Alright guys, here’s my situation. I have a NA SR20DE installed in a Datsun. My car is having a very hard time cranking over, even with a newly rebuilt starter. Also put new plugs, etc.
I am guessing the start-up problem is due to the over flooding of fuel. The shop that did my swap insisted that I have a high-flow Walbro pump AND a second 280ZX pump as well. I figured this would be overkill for a NA engine but I went with there word anyway. I need to check the pressure, but for now, I am assuming that this is causing the bad start-up.
So, what do you guys think I should do?

-Install a “less aggressive” pump
-Install an adjustable FPR and turn down the pressure

there is no need for dual pumps on a NA sr20de... i have a de with 370's and a t25 and the walbro is plenty. Ditch the original 280 pump and put an anadjustable fpr too (keeps pressure in the rail for easier startup)

And then post pics of your car :)

Should I go with the Nismo FPR, or is there a better one out there?

I found a out of tank fuel pump made by MSD that will work with my setup.

not much difference in the on rail adjustable FPRs tomei, nismo etc are all the same also dual pump is extreme overkill in your situation I am running 560cc injectors on my det with just a walbro on it
