US s13 vs US s14

i looked up and i saw that both DOHC s13 and s14 have the same hp and same torque..so i was wondering..im guessin the s14 is more heavy..so would that mean the s13 is faster?

If you would test all cars in the canyons, the SOHC S13 would be faster.....uuummmmmm, high reving.

in a situation like that it would be near impossible to tell. You might be able to figure it out thru numbers, but with such close numbers it all depends on the driver.

In theory the fastest 240SX would be a '91 base model coupe.

There isn't a wide enough variation for it to matter, though.  Might as well just say they're all about the same.

dont forget to factor in mileage and engine abuse, because those play into how much hp you still have.

if you're going on just numbers...I think the s13 would, by a very thin hair.

but....for real life practicality...I'd say the better driver would win.

I've heard of stock SOHC s13's beating stock DOHC s13's...doesn't mean a SOHC is faster, it just has the better driver.

but like I said, just on numbers, theoretically, the s13 should win.

also, I agree with what sr20fastback said...engine abuse is also a factor.
