hey, i'm a noob, but i looked around a bit and i couldn't seem to find anything about putting a Z32 MAF in a KA24DE. it seems that it's a common thing to do in the SR20's, but i was wondering if it would be smart to do it in a KA just to get more airflow. so if anyone could tell me if this was a good upgrade to do. i can use the parts listed here (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=97556 SR20 Write up) so i don't need to know what i need, but any other advice/help would be appreciated, thanks.

Pretty much a complete waste of time for a stock KA.

well hopefully it'll eventually have a turbo. there's no way it could produce a difference now?

none whatsoever. It would be like putting a silencer on a watergun

damn that's disappointing.

All you'd be doing is measuring more airflow, but you're not actually increasing airflow by going to a larger MAF, so the measurement aspect wouldn't matter. Plus you'd need something additional to control it since it's a different voltage signal than the OE unit.

yea unless you just want to have it to say its there, plus a safc to correct the signal for the voltage difference, then its pointless until you actually do have a turbo installed
