These are being made in-house @ Shine Auto. I have personally seen the FC version and these came out in better quality than the actual Sexy Style hood. Im putting a deposit down myself on one of these.

That kick up is ill. i don't want the vents though. any companies make a OEM style hood with the kick.

Im trying to get them to figure out a way to work in the rear vent. However I know they are using the FC hood in combination with my stock hood to make the mold. Ideally an S13 Sexy Style hood would be needed to make it correctly I think.

it looks like the vent on that rx7 hood is a lot smaller than the one on the sexy style car........if its guaranteed to look like this when its done (with the vent closer to the headlights) ill give my deposit.

i have another question. is there a reason why the "battle" style has it higher up than the green and red 240's? and finally i went to the origin website clicked the 180sx pic "404 Not Found

so i clicked the s13 and they have hump in middle and two vents in the back

would that have the pull in air effect as well? just wondering, also to add to the ideas. the last red 240 looks to have a bigger vent than the rx-7 vent, which size is it gonna be?

To answer a few questions...

The vent size will be the same as on the RX7, however it can be moved further down towards the headlights. Actually it will more than likely be closer to the lights. Ill talk to Ken and see what he thinks. Shouldnt be a problem.

At this time only fiberglass hoods are going to be made. There are not any current plans to make CF.

You mentioned them wanting it to bulge like D-Max, I think it would be cooler if they knocked the kickup.

I wouldn't think it would be that hard, just bondo on a triangle of flexible wood to the hood you're using to make the mould.

No, the up angle should create a low pressure zone above the slats pulling air out.

i like the vent hood, not too crazy about the louver part at the rear. maybe make it as an attachment so you could sell em for all other hoods too.

Id like to see the hood in frp with no internal skeleton molded in if possible. That should allow a lil more head space if needed for peoples mods, as well as looking clean.

Id like to really see a copy of the hood with the vent. If you all talk about how yeah I want this and that to be done and shit then why don't you tell street shine to make replicas so that the public can see what they got to offer. If you just want to extract intrest then as you can clearly see there is a whole lot of intrest in these hoods, But 4 reals make prototypes see we can see what we will be paying for.:D

if you say that they make only for the fc's only well i'm been searching looky what i found on the Sexy_style website. check this out they actually have them made for the s13's as well as others. but you'll have to contact them.
