View Full Version : SR guys with aftermarket mani's
hey, just wondering what you guys used instead of the stock oil catch tank that is connected to the right side of the tee from the valve cover.
i looked at my S14 sr and instead of a catch tank it just plumbs straight back down into the crankcase.
anyone tried that with an S13 SR?

ALERT THIS IS NOT A THREAD JACK!!!!
gosh people
anyways
run a steel braided line from the crank case vent to the t on the valve cover then out to a nice catch can and put a breatehr on the other nipple on the catch for overflow, pressure etc.
or
Be really cool use AN fitting and the same steel braied line, youll need more of it though, and route the crank case vent out to the catch can and the other nipple on the catch can routed back to the T and the breather filter on the other end of th T facing the front of the engine bay..
heres mine pics from when it was running right ARRRGR:bite:

I did it the cheap way. I just bought two longer hoses, unbolted the stock catch can from the engine and bolted it to the driver side fender wall.
