Yea guys I can get either one of these sets of cams for about the same price. Im wondering if anyone has used the Crowers and what you guys would go with. Im looking to do 300rwhp without upgrading turbo. I know this is a stretch but in your opinion which will get me closer?

Yeah... Being as how you're cheap, I'm going to guess you have a t25. And I'll buy you a cookie if you get near 300hp with that.
I've had experience with an engine that had crower cams, and the car performed nicely without any ideling problems.
And that's what I would suggest but in the end it's up to you.
Also check out ka-t.org . There are quite a few cam threads there.

Thanks, im basically trying to find out if anyone has used Crower cams and how they like them. They are cheap and Crower has been around for a long time just not in the import scene so I dont consider them a no name company. Let me know guys.

Are you sure you aren't talking about Brian Crower cams?
Cause Brian Crower and Crower are two different companies, even though from what I've heard, they're related.
Brian Crower = son of the owner of Crower, and had a falling out with his dad, and started Brian Crower to try and knock his dad out of business. From what I've heard, this guy gets all his stuff from China and what not.
Crower = father of Brian Crower, and has been around for a long time, and produces his stuff here in the US of A, so quality should be better, but it'll reflect that as well in the price of his products.

Ivan from turbo240.com has Crowers in his KA and he is running nines. So there would be someone to look at.
And to clear up the misconception: "With the support of his family, Brian Crower Inc. was formed to deliver the highest quality internal engine components for a variety of popular engine platforms." -www.briancrower.com/about.shtml
BC is family backed and focuses on the sport compact market while Crower is more V8 focused.

HKS are not expensive at all. HKS often has supply problems though..

not saying hks cams are expensive. rather, the price difference between the two is significant.
but yea, hks has problems keeping their cams in stock

really, you guys can get new hks cams at same price as the b.crower ones?
because the b.crower ones come in a set of 2, intake and exhaust, the hks ones listed are usually for one, intake OR exhaust...
if you can get hks ones (a set) for nearly same price as b.crowers, i'd go that route...

Why did you ask hks 256 vs crower 264? Its really more hks or crower / 256 or 264.

Why bother...i dont see cams making a big difference on stock T-25. All its gonna do is help it spool faster but not make more power since either way, the turbos gonna run out of breath after 270-280hp. Thats if you even have the right bolt ons to get up there. That means, MAF, injectors, FMIC, manifold, etc etc...You wanna be a cheap ass and try to hit those number with stock turbo....you need atleast all the bolt ons and some massive headwork (oversized valves, full port and polished head) to hit that number.
