good luck, i tried long ago. there was apparently one or two companies, but all i got was 'good luck getting it here' and basically was told to just get one with a vent and fill it for less than the cost of getting one brought over.

you might as well just get a roller and pull the oem metal fender. its thin, then just spend the money on the body work to make it nice.

3 years ago. Jesus man, this guy doesn't deserve to live in Japan. And why does he need wide fenders anyways? 17x8 with a mega spacer?

#1 i dont use spacers
#2 i did look in drift tengoku, and option (the only ones i found at the local 7-11) and no luck in those. I haven't gone to essential yet becuase of the events happening on base.

All im trying ot do is get some help, i searched on google and yahoo for almost 2 hours before i posted it becuase of this.
Im tryign to move up in wheels, but as it is the 17x8 +8s i have now, are BARELY clearing my rolled fronts, and they are rolled as far as they are gonna go. Id liek to move up to a set of works but im not going to get them until i can clear them.

Thanks for the help for the guys that contributed. Im sure after a few more months i will know all the little tricks her ein japan, but ive only been ehre 6 months as it is, so im still learning!

isn't there a thread JUST like this one a couple weeks ago?

if you're that desperate, just fiberglass the vent over.

17x8 +8???

DAMN. Cause you know, I must have pulled the 17x9 -3 on stock front out of my ass when i did it. Sure, it required pulling the fender, and yea, might as well just ran an FRP fender, but whatever.

If you want stock looking wide fenders, K-Stle makes some, along with random places like Aero King and Aero Palace and shit. USE YOUR RESOURCES IN JAPAN!!! you won't find shit on Google about something like this. Maybe if you go on ziptied and ask... oh nvmd that's right.

18s up front on s13 suuuuck
espcially 10s
maybe u hae a as14 now
but there's a reason people who run 10" up front use 17s.
dorifto_slut knows about that too. ;)

I know gp-sports makes some really nice fenders if your gonna use pop-ups, they aren't cheap though...

Uhhhh... yeah right dude, 18s, 17s, they're the same width, height doesn't matter since when you roll fenders they go out and up at the same time.

18x10+10 is easy as shit, like charlie said, its possible on stock pulled. its when you put the S14 FLCA on is when things get tastey.

^^^ Nah he's got a fail-Eighty...

Don't go 18's on the front if you're gonna go a 10' width. Those numbers don't get along with the fronts of s13's very well... 17/18 would probably be the best if you want a 10' up front...

first: you didnt get banned from ziptied by nick becuase your car is green. nick didnt ban you at all. you have no style. get real with that, you're clueless.

second: 18's on the front of an s13 or any s chassis thats actually drifting. BLOWS. x10? what's wrong with you? do you have any idea what your actually doing? wait no you dont. can we switch places, ill take your place in japan and you can move to so cal.

if the offset is too low you can sand the back pad with 40 grit

McRussellPants
10-04-2006, 12:17 AM
then you step up the grit until you get to 2000.

bam, mirror finish backpad, no more stress risers and less weight.

bwhahahahaha... nice

Im going to list sandpaper on our website under the "wheel section" for wheel modification.

That Taka Kaira fender has a vent, it was just cut out.

And if you can't fit 17x8 +8 either you haven't tried hard enough, or you are putting on some 275/60/17.

Imo 17x8 +8 should result in poor wheel fitment.

Fiberglass the fenders, or cut them out like HyperTek's car has iirc.

be cool and get some bn sports fenders and cut off the side skirt part at the bottom. or just do the logical and easy thing of filling the damn vent on some cheapie fenders.

the wheels arent for drifting, I just liek them
work Meisters in that sidze for sub 1000 bucks...im just tryign to fit htem for the hell of it.

Ill be drifting on 16x8 fronts and the same rears. Possibly the 17s in the front with the rate im buying up 17 inch tires

its not the 17x8 that im having a problem with, im just looking at my oppourtunities for larger sizes...

recap
Fenders are not for my 17x8
they are for 18x10s

18s arent for drifting, just for becuase i want them becuase im inlove with meisters, and always have been.

Ill see if i can pull the fronts any more, and see where it goes from there

Im sitting just as flush and lower in the front on mine as your picture

I dont build my car for you people, i build it for me. I tried to find it, and unfortunately turned to you guys (except the ones that were overly helpful! thanks!!!) and got nothign but shit talking and crap.
Again thanks to the guys that helped me, it gave me a better starting point to look!!
