you are so right....90's music...especially if you were a rap fan was so much better. me and Exitspeed were listening to some old skool rap the other day, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Warren G, Westside Connection, Too Short, Tupac, man I could go on and on....and the west coast had rap on lock in the 90's....well the early 90's.

i didn't appreciate all those songs until i got older; i didn't grow up with them. HOWEVER I'll agree with every one of those songs, logan

music during my childhood wasn't exactly a driving force... i was always in limbo concerning 'fitting in.' Spanish slow songs, K-Earth 101 (that's right, bitches.).... and snoop, bone thugs, ice cube. hahaha.

I fully agree I cant stand the crap that these so called "rap" "hip-hop" artist are coming out with, I have been Spinin music for 8 years now and I refuse to play the garbage like " let me see your shoulder lean" it should be like

"let me hear you come out with a tight track, a tight track"!!!!!!!

The beats that they are producing these day I could make in my room with the simple shit that I got to produce beats, and not only that I could make that crap in about 45 mins. NOT JOKING!!!!

I have been complaining about the radio garbage alot latly with friends and eveyone that is my age agrees, "they just dont make them like they used to":werd:

I've said it before but as long as it makes the head nod then it's all good by my book.

I hear where you're coming from, but no need to hate man, any music that is created is cool and should be respected.

Your talk about the dance stuff reminded me of 36 Mafia's new joint "Side To Side"...for those in the back of the club, arms folded, cap pulled down!

I really feel a lot of the new music that's out, and if you look hard enough, there is a lot of quality being created (even in the mainstream), like Lupe, Kanye, etc.

Yea there is some good stuff (Kanye, Jay-Z for the gown and sexy). But I remember when I would go to Best Buy and get mad CD's on Tuesday's and I couldn't wait to rip them bitches open and bump that shit. The last Album I bought was Phereall and wasn't very happy with the second half of the CD. The last CD I was REALLY REALLY impressed by was College Dropout. I don't like Jay's new single from Kingdom Come, but I heard another track off the album called Kigdom Come and it's is fire. I'm looking forward to Jay coming back. Whether it's whack or not, at least I'll have some hip-hop that appeals to us old school cats. Meaning we've matured and this "shoulder lean, beat the pussy up, blah blah blah" doesn't cut it.
