Fully built 400hp sr20!

Ok I just got done putting this motor together and getting my car dyno'd... I decided I wanted to sell the motor before I was even done cause I realized I had got in over my head and I wan't to open a shop so I need the money. I knew I had to finish or I would never get anything back out of it. I'm always seeing a ton of bs built motors and whatnot on these forums but this is the real deal! I got dyno numbers and everything to prove this motor is put together right. I can provide compression numbers anything you want! If you got cash in your hand you can drive the car or whatever is necissary to prove that this motor runs perfect as it should.

This motor definately isn't for just anyone... I drove the car for the first time today and it is stupid fast... I'm gonna be driving the car in a couple track events over the next couple weeks and thats all I really plan on driving the car in. I'm willing to take the motor out tommorow if someone buys it but until then I'm going to enjoy it. I don't drive the car on the street so the motor won't be driven at all unless I do go to an event in which case I will inform everyone.

it's not that no one wants the motor - it looks like a dream setup (although it looks like you ran out of boost towards redline even with the big exh housing), and I'm sure any one of us would want it, but $4200 is a lotta scratch, plus unless someone already has a fully built motor and the accompanying engine management, they'll need the rest of your equip too (and $8k is a SHITLOAD of cash to spend on a motor for a $1k car).

I know you're trying to recoup some of what you put into the car, but buyers for $8k engine packages are few and far between. Bump for the ideal SR motor ~

Yeah I know it's not gonna be easy finding a buyer... The only reason I'm trying to recoupe most of the funds is because I haven't even driven it yet... Everything is like new still aside from the like 20 dyno passes I made fine tuning the car. I'm sure someone will come along here and need a built motor or wants to build something along these lines...

but when they find out how much it really costs should have bought a pre-built setup

The long block alone is for sale... I will not part anything out until I sell the long block. I know I wan't alot but I haven't even driven the car yet! If I have to take a large loss I mize well just keep the motor and drive... I was gonna go back to a stock setup cause I'm hurtin for cash but at the same time I don't have to have the cash... I guess keep the offers coming!

I'm in apple valley, ca and I do not have a camera... Maybe I'll go buy one tommorow since mine was stolen... It really doesn't look like much cause it has the stock intake and exhaust manifold plus the ic piping was just mocked up and installed so it's not all blangin but yeah will do with the pics!

Somebody buy this setup! I might even go as far as to sell just the bottom end... Just to make the sale quick and easy cause I don't want to part it out until the motor is sold. That way people can come see how it runs in person... So keep sending your offers my way!

I really want to sell the motor all together that way when someone drops the motor that it's all in 1 peice and fires right up... I hate being in a position where I have to sell something cause this is annoying... Find someone to buy the bottom end and we can talk on the head..

Thanks guys! I finally broke down and pulled the motor... I need money and I didn't want to put any miles on the motor so I'm putting in a stock sr in my car just to keep it driving... I sold the turbo and injectors but the longblock is still up for sale! Somebody pick this thing up! Shoot me your offers!

Well I pulled the motor... Thought I had a buyer but no one seems to be following through... I was considering putting this in another car and I may still if I don't get a reasonable offer... I need it gone though cause I need money like bad... I guess don't be afraid to shoot me your offers...

God this is getting stupid... I can't seem to get anyone really firm on this motor and I need cash like bad again... I had a guy that I was trying to arrange for him to pick up the motor and now I haven't heard from him for the last couple days so I'm looking for someone to buy this again. As much as I really want to throw this back in my car I need the money for my shop so any more offers out there?
