I'm about to buy an oil cooler set-up but can't figure out where to mount it. Post up your pics of where you mounted yours. I'm reallly looking for a s13 pop-up front end (that's what i have) but any 240 front end would help

use one of the side holes in whatever aero bumper, they all basically have 2 side holes and one center one

mounted it to the bar that the hood latch mounts to and the left side of the radiator support and ran one line by the radiator and one around the iside holes

Mine is mounted where the a/c condenser went. I bought a mocal cooler and some mounting brackets and it sits b/w the radiator and intercooler.

i thought about mounting it on the passenger side hole from my aero, but there wasnt a good spot to mount it due to the size. And at some point in time I will be getting a little fan for it.

yah becareful with those incase you bump into somethhing and crack the cooler you gotta shut off your engine pretty quick I recommend an oil pressure gauge with the kit too. On ebay there is a oil filter relocator with the block tapped for pressure or temp sensors, makes it easier.

boso style is pretty cool but I wouldn't mount the cooler on a S-chassis like that. But yeah my friend has his mounted right in front of the little lower vent on the stock S14 bumper, his cooler is not that big though

I mounted mine to my radiator face, with rubber isolators to keep heat transfer at a minimum.

It's a 6x11, 26 row B&M.

anybody using stock oil coolers from other cars? Z31's have oil coolers that mount just like a SMIC which is perfect since it doesn't take air from the radiator or intercooler. Thats what I am going to use.

Starion's have a nice size oilcooler that you can use. They run banjo fittings but you're going to need custom lines anyway if you don't buy a kit designed for your car. Check out starquestclub.com's forsale section, they run pretty cheap and are a good design.
