ok.. is the apex gt spec catback a good system for an sr20det? it's 3.74" pipe mandrel bent. i thought i should have 3.5" . ?also what wouold be a good cat to go with that.. i already have a 3" dump pipe. it attaches perfectly to the stock cat, will the stock cat fit on the gt-spec?.. well anyways.. thanx

I love the fit and finish of my N1 dual so my assumption ::and will probally make an ass out of me and umption:: is that the quality will be the same. When I put my SR in I still had the stock exhaust on and when I put the N1 on the difference was sooo noticable; nice tone and more HP at the topend (revved much more freely). I would go for it if I were you I didn't because of the price <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

I like my GT spec, good quality, sounds mean, it is a bit too loud though. Then I don't think that quiet and 3" go hand in hand. As far as high flow cat's go. I have a Random Technology universal 3" I got flanges for it from road race engineering.

Since the SR is a turbo motor, Bigger is better. but remember bigger also means Louder.. I believe they make a silencer for it.

Yea sykikchimp your right bout the Sr20 motor, But since i know coastek240 lives in virginia. Im not really sure if cops pick on us now. Cuz i was gonna get that GReddy TR EVO 2 which is 94mm dia. 120mm... and u get a test pipe and i believe it replaces your cat as well.. But im still unsure bout that even tho that exhaust does come wid a silencer as well... So far it is either PE 2 from Trust, or the blitz spec-r or that one... plus the TR EVO 2 is made for HP

ok.. well does anyone know if it'll be coole with a 3" random tech cat, and a 3"dump pipe, and a 3and 3/4 " apex-igtspec catback.. will it all line up, and bolt on, is what i'm asking?

yes they will all line up as long as the parts are for the same chassis.
remember exhausts are quieter on turbo motors than on NA motors, so the GReddy TR EVO 2 with a silencer would be fine I think, of course I probably wouldn't use the silenser except on long trips, b/c i hear they are pretty restrictive.
