Just arrived is the Bee-R Rev Limiter with Mis-Firing Action
Increase your rev or limit with a turn of a dial. New feature includes Bee-R's mis-firing action. Set the gain to numerous sounds, and when you hit your limiter your vehicle sounds like the Lancer Evo mis-firing system. If running straight pipe, see a huge flame shoot out!

hey, just kidding on the last post..
But how does mis-firing help performance gain??? I understand the exhause fire can look cool for the first couple of day, but what's in it for the long run??

just wanted to ask, but doesn't the huge flame shooting out run the risk of harming the exhaust piping and/or the rear bumper?

I asked this question about a two weeks ago and here is the answer that I got.
</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (transient @ June 22 2002,11:44)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">A misfiring system is a way to keep the turbo spooled while off the throttle. Basically it retards timing so that the combustion takes place partly in the exhaust manifold creating a big boost of exhaust that keeps the turbo spooled. It's not a very streetable system because of overheating problems, and it certainly won't help reliability.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
Hope that helps
pornallstar; you beat me to it. Yes, all the misfiring system does is keep your turbo spooled during shifts afaik.
kurissuS13 the exhaust piping is made to take that kind of heat and should not be damaged at all by such flames. The bumper should also be alright provided the exhaust tip hangs low enough/far enough from the bottom of the bumper to prevent melting. The worst the flames will do may be to leave a dark spot above the tip. However, the velocity at which the gasses (+ flame) are shooting out should be high enough that the flame doesn't actually 'touch' the bumper.

isnt it a big attention getter for cops of a big white guy with a stick that could kick my ass because my flamming exhaust hit his jeep cherokee? or is there a way to control that other than leaving the cat on?

If you had a misfiring system, the cat would be destroyed after a couple of minutes. I don't think this is a true misfiring system as the real systems are expensive (how much, i'm not sure). The true misfiring systems have a bypass valve in which the additional fuel is forced through to use to combust. For damage, it's known to reduce the life of the turbines in your turbo. At any rate, this just seems like it makes your car run rich and thats why the you get the TiGhT FLaMeZ.

Just to clear a few things up, this is not a "real misfiring unit", but more mis firing like sound.
This unit is actually safer than that of your stock rev limit. When reaching your stock rev limit, your ecu cuts your fuel which is harmful to your motor. With the Bee-R rev limiter set, it cuts your ignition rather than your fuel, thus creating mis firing type sound, and if running a straight pipe, it will produce flames out the back of your exhaust. And yes your rear bumper will show some effect because of this if you are running a straight pipe. More info can be found here if interested !Bee-R Rev Limiter (http://www.autoimaging.com/shop/index.php?shop=1&cat=90&cart=1181)
You can email me if you have any other questions
