Messed up my window...fixable?

So my drivers side window was having a really hard time rolling up and down so I pulled the door panel off to take a look. The cable that runs throughout the door to raise and lower the window was fraying and this was causing parts to jamb, thus being hard to roll up or down. Long story short I ended up snapping this cable. Is there anyway to fix this if I have another door laying around I can get parts from, or am I screwed? Thanks.

1. stop taking your car apart.
2. go to a junk yard/ebay
3. buy one for $1.29

get some cable and a couple of cable clamps from home depot and patch it

So it is possible to just replace the entire cable? I don't really want to patch it because the thing is frayed all over.

I'll be nice. The cable is not repairable. Replace the regulator.
