yeah there are some good driving spots here in the desert, some good screwing off spots too where its fine to go fast and sideways and not risk the chance of getting in trouble. It would be cool to get some 240 owners together in the high desert.. my car is sitting and waiting for some love right now. i am thinking about buying another too and starting on that one..we'll see here in the next month or so. used to live in victorville also and moved to apple valley about 2 years ago now.

totally legal. you can go as fast as you want and slide as much as you want, its just a completely open huge area, your cars will just get a bit dirty, thats about all.

this area you speak of, is it all dirt? I'm trying to find a fresh flat paved area. Maybe you're talking about the dry lake bed.

I'm also from this area, more in the newer parts of victorville. Grey s14 btw.
been up here for a few months and this city sucks!

From my understanding it is illegal to do any type of donuts, drifting, etc... on the lake bed (Check with the rangers I could be mistaken). I regularly ride dirt bikes out there and see people get nailed all the time.

Also, If you are still going to do this be very careful of the rain ditches out there. I actually broke my shoulder a few years back off of one. They really just pop up out of no where and get VERY deep.

I bet you love how they paved the road. That road was murder a while back.

i think the only thing you can get in trouble for is littering and messing with the environment. oh and i've heard that you have to look out for ditches/dips
