Do any of you (In california) know if they sell the "black" version in California at all? I've looked everywhere and i can't find anything.. Also on the steel site they don't say that there is a "ban" or anything from it being sold here (in So-Cal) so i was just wondering why i haven't seen it.. Has anyone tried it and if so how does it compare to the "Steel" version?

Never heard of Country club.. I've had K.C. before.. It works ok.. Steel and MIckeys seems to work best for me. As far as "black" goes all the testamonies on the site are from people in the midwest or southern U.S... i think we californians get left out =/.

ha ha .. It's not that I can't afford other stuff.. It's just that it works better then any other beer that I've had and it's dirt cheap... All beer taste like crap too me (Especially guiness), when cash is short when i can't get a bottle of Liquor i go with steel.. It'll be a sad day indeed if Steel went away :(

The first time i ever drank beer it was a mickeys... Then steel... From that day on I'd choose that over any beer (Domestic).. I need to find black though.. Suppose to taste a lil better (which would be a plus)..

you can get some good beer in canada. i remember a hockey tournament in montreal where we had some molson that had a warning label on it.

I had the big can of Asahi when I was in California. I asked for a can of it and they brought me that. I probably smiled at her and shed a tear. I love Asahi. All the other Japanese/American beers suck. They are almost all made in America so blah!
About 40's....We dont even get them here! They are illegal! Only 32's. I dont even drink anymore now though. I have better things to do. Must concentrate on karting!

I havent heard of any black 211. We get 211 high gravity only. Anyone know where to get Crazy Horse though? Its usually mickeys or olde english for me. But at the bars and what not its coors, mgd or some other weak stuff.

I know people that SWEAR by 211, I just can't stand to drink it, give me a Yuengling or a Red Stripe anyday.

See i like it cause it it gets the job done cheap.. I actually hate all beer.. I hate carbonation, especially in my alcohol.. I'm more or a liquor fello (Straight or mixed).. Even though those taste like crap too you only "taste" it for about 10 mins, after that the senses go dull.. Steel is the strongest cheapest stuff i can find that's the closes to a spirit for me, so that's what i buy.. I'm not in it for taste, I'm in it for what gets the job done quick. If steel wasn't carbonated I'd drop everything else and just drink that... If money wasn't a problem I'd drink absinthe , now that stuff is no joke...

I wanna try Everclear too but i don't think we californians get that stuff =/

someone mentioned jager bombs. that's one of my favorite drinks, but i'm always worried about how bad it may be for you mixing jager with energy drinks.

Doesn't say anywhere on the packaging, but that is not something I particularly care about when I drink beer, I actually ENJOY my beer, if I am worrying myself with alcohol content by volume, I drink liquor.
