as far as i know its a turbo problem, just dont know exactly whats wrong with it, i just put a s14 t28 with almost 0 shaft play on my redtop SR because my t25 went out, well now when i boost then left off i have smoke come out of the exhaust, the amount varies depending on how much i get on it and how long i hold boost. what could it be? thanks

does the smoke linger around for a while or does it dissipate really quick. If it lingers, then it has something to do with coolant. I believe if dissipates quick, its running really rich.

it just depends on how much i get on it, it does go away right after or if i get back on the gas a little

White smoke is always one of 2 things. Seafoam, or in ur case, its burning coolant. Lifes gonna suck for u soon.

if your old turbo went bad right. wudnt it leave oil in the exhaust from before and wouldnt this have to burn off. and also did you prime your turbo properly. some ppl mix up white smoke and blue white smoke. white smoke is coolant. blue white smoke is oil and then u have black smoke which is fuel. also did u clean out your intercooler piping from the old oil all this plays a factor. many of my friends with turbo cars had these problems after puttin in a new turbo when the old one went bad and was stomped. check this before u draw to other conclusions it may save you some headache.
