ok zilvians... i went to a junk yard today and found a rear differential off a 1997 240sx SE. I drive a 1992 Coupe. my question is... lsd or not? i looked on it and i did not see a stamp or mark or anything that indicated that this was a lsd version or not. i found out that if you turn the driveshaft and grab hold of one outlets it should move. i did this and it didn't move hard, but it did try to move... now if it wasn't the lsd version, it wouldn't have moved back and fourth at all, correct?

i searched, but i didnt' search too long, cuz it may be gone soon... any help would be appreciated. i am trying to learn of the RWD ways...lol...

thanks,

berry

stand on the pumpkin, and jump up and down. If the axles wiggle, then its a
r200v. If they dont wiggle its 2way, probably cusco!

i see y ur rep says "well-known jackass" ;)

i actually tried putting it in my civic...there was actually no room cuz of my flux capacitor ( i <3 bass)... i just figured that someone here would be a lot better informed instead of those stupid mustang ppl... they have no clue about civics at all!!!

btw...thanks for the help...
