i come home from my uncles tonight and i go out to see my girl friend, and i missed driving my car so i gun it and the pedal gets stuck under the mat (car wash moron took out my paper clip in the tab) and now is pinned and im approching traffic. i step on the brake, but decide that wont help i change lanes to avoid a mini van and finally decide my best bet is to kill the ignision so i do it. and get the pedal freed and shift to neutral and start the car, but now the abs light is on. so i say fuck it at the next light ill park and restart the car and mabe it will help. so i stop and and im going to park to shut and restart the car and all of a sudden it feels like the abs is on (like when you stop short) and the brake isent working and the idle is going to make me hit the car in front of me (hundi accent) so i yanked the e brake and luckly stoped like 2 inches from the bumper. has this happened to anyone before, is this normal?

I had the same thing happen to me tonight, I was breaking heavily and the petal locked up.
The petal can only be pushed very firmly and it doesnt feel like much pressure is getting to the breaks at all (i would guess i need to bleed the lines etc.)
But in addition to this, when I start the car there is a loud hissing noise coming from the engine bay (maybe air in the lines?) and I cant quite narrow it down, also the engine seems to be idling very irratically.

If anyone finds out anything please let me know too.
