In regards to USDM S14s....

black face = base model

white face = SE/LE model

I thought only the Kouki LE's/SE's had White Face Gauges.

edit: Nevermind, SimpleS14 beat me to it.

You mean the carbon fiber look alike? Not bad but I prefer the white face.

To reiterate, all base model S14s, 95-98, have black gauges.

All SE models, 95-98, have white.

The difference is the design of the gauges, Zenki models overlap the speedo/tach, Koukis do not, and the plugs are completely different per model.

yeah, i know its been a while since anyone has bumped this thread. i was curious if a kouki se gauge would plug right up to a zenki base car? or would i only be able to get zenki se gauges? also, if anyone pictures comparing both zenki and kouki gauges, please post them up! or if u can direct me, please add url. thanks

get a kouki cluster with the plugs and resplice your zenki harness to the kouki plugs to make it work.

No, there's no CF patterns on any 240s.

I'll believe it when I see it.

go get a FSM from a zenki and a FSM for a Kouki, find the same wires label them and splice it. should take you about 2 hrs MAX..... that's only if in the end it works.... gluck... let us know how it goes

It's 20 minutes max, I put a Kouki cluster in my 96, and have done a Zenki into a 98 for a customer. 99% of the wires match color to color.

Strangely enough, I've even said that before on here. Guess no one bothered to look for it.
