Hey guys, I'm putting my Civic up for sale. Maybe this isnt the right place to post it, but I thought maybe someone could be interested. So, here is the info...

Rundown:
I'd say 90% of this car is either new or has been replaced. There are no problems, it runs and drives flawlessly. I bought the car back in August of 05', it was damaged in the front. (Previous owner rear-ended a truck) The car has a clean title, everything was replaced and repaired to OEM factory specs. The car had around 120k miles when it was rebuilt.

Exterior:
The car has gone through a full color change. Exterior, interior, engine bay, door jams ect. Nothing was spared in the paint job, I stripped the car down to the bare shell, even the glass was removed. The car was painted in March of this year, so the paint is a few of months old. I added a full 99-00 front CTR front end as well.

Exterior Specs:
New NSX Imola Orange Pear Paint (YR-563P)
99-00 Front End (Bumper, fenders, hood, headlights)

Buddy Club shift knob

Engine:
I sourced the engine from www.atlanticsalvage.com. Compression tested, 210psi in every cylinder. The engine has been meticously cleaned. I media blasted the whole engine, and recoated it with high temp engine coating. Most of the little brackets and covers were powdercoated, repainted or replaced. The engine wire harness was taken apart, I cleaned every plug with a toothbrush and it was reloomed and retaped..better than OEM. I am very anal when it comes to how clean my car is, so this part was no exception. The engine recently got a small wire tuck job, relocating the wires under the frame rails.

Engine Specs:
2004 Acura RSX K20A2 Type S (28,000 Miles)

Suspension / Wheels
I chose a fairly new company www.picperformance.com for the coilovers. After talking with the owner I was excited about getting a set and testing them out. I must say they are some of the nicest coilovers I've had the pleasure of driving on. I've had TEIN's, BILSTEIN's, KYB's, K-Sport's..ect ect and these are by far the smoothest, best riding suspension. The car has the Select P3 dampers and springs and rear lower control arms. Wheels arent anything special, just your everyday Rota GT3's in Hyper Silver with a polished lip.

Suspension Wheel Specs:
PIC Performance In Control Select P3 Adjustable dampers, (14kF, 12kR)
PIC Lightweight Rear Lower control arms
Rota GT3 16x7 Black +40mm (DOES NOT COME WITH SLIPSTREAMS)
Nitto Neo Gen 205/45/16 Rubbers

Brakes:
I got a full set of DC2 GSR brakes from a friends car. Everything was cleaned and checked before installation.

Brake Specs:
1998 GSR Front kunckles
1998 GSR Rear disks and trailing arms
1998 GSR Master cylinder
New OEM Acura brake pads (no dust at all!)
New slotted rotors

It's hard for me to express how well I care for this car. It's my pride and joy, I dont beat this car up, it's garage kept, never driven in the rain.. The car is show quality and because of that it will appear on the cover Modified Magazine later this year. Every bolt, screw, nut, clip is either new, or it was replaced. I did 80% of the work by myself..I wouldnt have it any other way. Like I said I've very anal about how things go so I took the extra time and spent the extra money to have things done correctly. The engine installation is top notch, it seems lately that there are come crappy K installs, but this is not. Everything works, nothing is rigged.

I have over 500 pictures of the car, I will be posting the professional pictures very soon!

This car will have the Hybrid-Racing Air conditioning kit, with working AC. I will also hook the heater up upon request. (I have no need for a heater).

Well, I'm curious if anyone would be interested in the car. I'm open to offers at the moment, but please do not low ball me. This is one of the nicest Civic's you'll ever see, as far as cleanliness and quality of worksmenship.

This is a magazine car, and the price should reflect it. I've spent a ton of money on this car, and I know I wont get every penny back, but I do plan to retain some of the car's value. The car was recently dyno-tuned by Jason at St00pid Fast.. 212whp with cams, header, intake and full exhaust. It's fast... very fast. The car went a best of 13.5 @ 107 on street tires.(with traction is has the power to go mid 12's) The car gets between 30-35mpg when driven on the steet.

My inital asking price is $19,000 But, as I said I am open to any offers or possible trades + cash. You can't build a car like this with the money I'm asking. I have receipts for everything on this car.

If you are in my area I am willing to show the car, there will be no test drives...but I will take you for a ride.

For those that dont know anything or not very much about K swapped Civic's please check out k20a.org. There have been numerous cars go for more than what I'm asking and the cars were not half as nice. The car is faster, just as nice, cheaper and just as reliable as any new car you can buy from a dealership with AC this is the ultimate street/track Civic.

Do no hesitate to contact me with any questions, I work for www.hybrid-racing.com the car was professionally built and maintained with nothing but the best service and equipment. I will stand behind this car.

Thank you

David

Wow, look at the graveyard i just created.
Yes, I just deleted TWENTY EIGHT posts from one thread, many of which were from the initial thread starter.
My statements are as such:
Yes, it is a Honda, yes we are a predominantly Nissan board.
Yes, he is selling a car that is up in age AND modified to it's current place in the world.
Yes, he is asking for quite a large amount of money for the car.
*HOWEVER*
No, not ONE of you has a realistic right to bitch about what he is asking if you have no intentions on buying the car, and he has no right downing a community of car owners based upon some silly loss that he, himself, has taken or based upon the merits of some movie that the majority of our forum has not even bothered to go and see.

If I have to moderate this thread again, I will straight up delete it, simply put.

Nice car. Are there any know problems? Does the car have AC? I'm looking for something like that.. but with an undoubted sense of reliablity.

I would consider the trade only if cash were included. I know my car runs perfect and there are ZERO problems. I could drive it to california and not think twice.
