chassis electrical done i only have a total of 18 wires running to the front of the car thats for headlights, turn signals, sidemarkers and horns, and the other day i did a hella beast mod to the coupe I took out my headlight motors and made brackets to have my headlights perminetly mounted up i think headlights down or sleepy eyes looks ugly!!

For the rear fenders i used a heatgun and just slowly rolled the lip back and forth it definetly takes alot of patience and it gives you a really good bicep work out

That pull is pretty much not functional. You need to pull it much higher up so it actually adds clearance. Otherwise it's just for looks (not that it looks good)

If you can't tuck tires on it, then it's not really adding to anything, just makes your shit look more sunk

Its just lost on you isn't it? We don't hate the engines. Damn your taking it personally. Of course people have their own preferences, most the people commenting in this thread are pretty knowledgable about their stuff. A LS1 may have a nicer ring to you but its going to cost you an arm and a leg on the conversion. I personally do not thinks it worth it. Does that mean I am hating because I make those comments? No. Its just my opinion and my preference.
Fact is, yes I think its step backwards to install a 6 and then pull it out and put a 4 in. I think you would feel the same way if someone stuck a LS1 one in pulled it back out and put a 4 or a six in place of it. i used a single stage with intergrated clear coat from napa it came out to be like $48 with the reducer and hardener and all and of course i had to buy the primer as well that was about $30.

Engine bay turned out all right could of came out a little better but its good enough for me.

Yeah when I used hate for engines thing that was bad on my part. But I remember reading a post about rb20's and HyperTek explained it. If someone puts a 4cyl in that matches a 6cyl in power and is lighter that is fine. If you put a ford 302 in and then swap it for a RB25, just because you lost 2cyl you now have a better platform i believe. Thats my opinion.

I just remembered, you can still use that RB koyo just call up samco and tell them whats up.

When me and carlos were at sema talking to them they said they are able to accommodate for anything... even v-mount setups they just would like to help you even more if you can give them some measurements to see what they have in stock or you might need to use some connector parts.

anyways so today i swapped turbo setups with my buddy on his red hatch, gave him some cash and installed a full bottom mount t25, stock sr harness and ecu setup on his car that he is selling on friday.

When i first saw this thread i was pretty jazzed about it because i love watching things progress from scratch, But I see no progression. This is the longest thread I have ever seen about how much shit one can buy and sell, it has nothing to do with your car. suitable, lighter, and who cares; this car is either in the garage or on the track. There are still options that gleb kept for street-ability, but I encourage him to eliminate that, he already has a daily driver.

What else is there to remove? Ive eliminated everything unnecissary except for the minimal things needed for the car to run and drive all the wiring for the stock headlight motors, a/c, all interior lighting, heater controls, door sensors, speaker wiring etc. headlights are on swithches with seperate relays i removed all the unused fuses and relays because the hatlech standalone eliminates alot of the stock relays there are new ones on the haltch engine harness, Ill try to get detailed pics of my harness soon

he blew his ka motor like 6 months ago, because the ka could't take anymore vibration from the front understeering so much. It just gave up. And the only thing in 6months he did was kick the tow strap underneath the car.

5 days after i bought it I got some new 15x8.5 -15 offset wheels with 205/50/15's hammered and rolled the rear fenders so much the rear door barely opens and it still rubs.....fuck...only option is to run 195/50/15's or go higher???? ill run the 195's haha

i basically have ride height adjustable coilovers in the back just add or remove spacers on top of the rear bump stops lol,

The only Nissan engine that deserves the title of the God of all engines would be Godzilla aka RB26DETT.


Agreed sr20's are not the God of all motors.
Inline 6's has massive torque potential not to mention it will also have a higher top speed then the little 4 banger, spool time is about the same though since displacement isn't any larger amongst the 2. I think the only advantage the SR has over the RB20 is the engine weight difference. Alot of people complain about overall car weight. Many reasons why people swap out KA's is because it's heavier than most aluminum block engines, KA's are heavier than freakin chevy LS7's....LOL
Have to agree with drift freak on this one and I'm a KA dude......
SR's are just rev happy thats all it comes down too, but sr's have the worst god awful valve train I've ever seen, it's not simple like the good bucket style hydraulics.....

But ehh not hating at all it is a nice project coming along.

Its an 86 mx73, the 5mge thats in it right now isn't fast or anything, it scoots pretty good maybe later ill throw a 1jz in it or something when i have more money. The wheels are Boyd Coddington wheels custom aluminum i guess back in the day they where pretty pricey, I think they look good though i like them, ill paint them sometime this week and post some pics when i do.

I agree with Gleb. Only reason I have owned so many S-Chassis's is to get my 2jz Jumpstarted. Hell after I turbo this one (3 weeks!), it gets out of paint next weekend and its up for $5k. The I can start the build up on the JZA80/S13!
