Well, I went to bolt up my turbo (until I can get a setup from dee . I will keep in touch Dee, school just has me in all sorts of fits currently) and I went to bolt up the turbo oil and coolant lines. Well, 1 hour later and lots of swearing and I still dont have the turbo oil to block line hooked up. I bent, rubbed, touched, every frecking thing possible. And the bad part about it, I had it hooked up at one point, then had to remove it because the coolant line closest to the block was above the turbo rather than below between block and turbo
Anyways, I decided to hell with it, why not upgrade to some SS lines while its off?? So, did some research and taka came up. I did find out some good and bad things about them. I also found out the guy also makes rubber lines (which, is a temp fix, so SS lines are what I will be using).

Anybody have any recommendations on what sort (or company) of lines to get?? Also, the oil to block lines have to be CA compatible (not certain on the sizes, but I do know they are different from the SR). I will probably be contacing Taka here but I wanted to see what others think and thier setups.

Thanks, Chris

Taka is the one to get. Harp knows what you need. Search my threads for my lengthy comments.

Yeah man what ^^^ he said. Taka lines FTW. I broke one of my coolant hardlines and didn't know and over heated so I made the switch and they are great. So easy to put on too.

I saw your write up G6 on how to make your own lines. Didnt read into it as I dont have time to make my own lines. I might change my mind further down the road, but for now, I just need something to be bolted up and off I go.

I already PMed Harp with my details so we will see...............

Appreciate the fast response folks!! Always welcoming

Anyone else??

Chris,

I no longer make the rubber sets. I sold two sets and decided against it.

fyi: ken's write up is good. If you got time, it won't take that long to make your own set.

CA and SR oil line is same EXCEPT fitting to block.

Why did you decide to go against selling the rubber kits?Is it going to crap out on me?

I stopped selling them (all of two sets) because in the end I would have to explain 50 times over why the rubber lines are overpriced, not a quality product as compared to the stainless steel lines I sell,etc..
