im thinking of getting headers for my car..then save up for the SR swap..my car is slow and i only wanna do minor stuff and save up for the sr..so i was wondering..wat company headers should i get? GReddy? or Hotshot? and is there any other companies that makes better headers than those two companies? wat whould go best for a 95 240sx Base Model, a 4-2-1 set up for a 4-1 set up? Ceramic coating or not? i hear cermaic can break..so im not sure..thanx for ur feed back

I just got thru a convo with one of my friends who i think i can trust..since he did own a KA-T..and now doing a SR swap..he told me the only reason y the GReddy is cracking is becuz it doesnt have a flex pipe.  i really dont understand y the greddy would break..y doesnt the hot shot do this?..he also told me greddy is designing a new header that will correct the problem. he said something about welding the flex pipe onto ur down pipe..and it should correct the problem. so yea i think that would correct the problem.

Please leave feedback on wat u think

Just my opinion, but why not just have slow car until you have the SR swap done.  Without getting headers now you will save like 350-400 or more for the SR.

Just my opinion.

i really cant wait that long..SR swap will take yrs to save up for...i just wanna get header for my car so i have the basic I/H/E setup..cuz im gonna go do race at the CMI..and i dotn wann alook like a dork running stock times..witht he header ima get custum piping done and downpipe for cheap..i get header for cheap too..but i just wanna know so i dont spend money on something that is not good..i mean..running stock time is ok i guess..i seen a AT civic stock run stock times at CMI. juss wanna go faster..going slow for that long is waaayy too boring

header.  Singular - as in you have ONE HEAD on an I-4 motor!

Okay, now that the rant is complete - I read on a tech? post recently someone saying Greddy had fixed the cracking problem. &nbsp;I'd find out more about that first (maybe call a shop that sells both). &nbsp; As for coating, get it Jet Hot coated (do a yahoo search). &nbsp; That's the best set up (although a bit more $$<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>.
