Alright this is my situation...  I only have about 3 grand in my bank account and i can use it to spend on my S13 coupe, which by the way is my first car.  this is where i need help making my decisions.  my car is Bone stock at this point and i have the 3 grand to spend on it but my brothers are saying that it is useless to put money into my first car.  i understand what they are saying but i like the car and want it to look nice and run well and that costs money.  i want to know wut i can do to my car with 3 grand...i know its not much but there has to be something i can do.  i would rather buy things that will improve performance rather than looks.  that is also why i am holding off on rims because i dont think they really improve performance....correct me if i am wrong.  i want to swap for a manual tranny and i understand that for the S13 it will cost some where under a grand or around there if i do all the work myself which is no problem. other than that what can i do?  I do not want to swap the engine out just yet... i want to wait till the miles are at least in the hundreds....right now i just past 60 k.
this may be a real vague question, so ultimately i am asking if it is worth it to put the 3 grand into the car instead of waiting to buy something else.?
sorry if this is too vague a question and too long a post

Hmm... if you plan on keeping the car for awhile here's what I suggest. You have a nice car, with great miles... But here's would I would do since you dont wanna swap for at least awhile. Go all suspension... and remember that if you change that transmission your going to just be throwing that away if you get an SR20.... I would personally just do the swap and sell your KA with low miles to someone who wants to go KA-T for like 400 bucks..But you could go all suspension and  put $3000 into the following: rims, cusco coilovers, a damper system if you can find, sway bar... rear tie... lots of options... You will have a stiff ass ride that really isnt going to deteriorate and you can just take your time towards getting that swap.

i would do the transmission swap and get a turbo kit if you only have 60k miles. i don't think it would be a waste, because if you actually did all of this, there would be no need for an SR. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
