no its not retard. KNow what your talking about before you try to talk.

Voltage is the same, you need some kind of mod chip, but i have no clue which one you need.

voltage is different, but the pstwo slim can run both us and jap voltage. it's universal on their power adapter (dont quote me on this)

to play us games, you need a chip.

voltage is not different
at all
it has a range, and the range is with the US and Japanese voltage in it
JDM is 100 IIRC, but its in the range for all US apliances, and the same for JDm

Don't listen to ANYBODY who posted just now (except yokota)

JDM ps2 will work FINE with US sockets. I know because my friend has one.

i believe Voltage Converter and some kind of universal plug adapter(not sure if the plug is different) and a PAL to NTSC converter if japan is using PAL signal

this reminded me to get my fucking PAL to NTSC converter from ebay...i want to play my damn xbox..

the non slim needs a converter.
you dont need a video signal converter. Drift Motion, japan uses NTSC, PAL is only europe. the power converter is call a "step-down converter"
yokotas13, the voltage is different in the US and Japan. the slim has the range of 100 to 220. it even say so in the manual and hardware. n1sm0r, so my post is valid :P
