I finally got around to debadging the 240sx emblem off my trunk and had some extra transparent vinyl laying around. tell me what you think. I think its teh sex.

did you put the vinyl over all of the taillights including the center panel or just the turn sigs. i bought some red vinyl to do this with but it hasnt come in the mail yet

i debadged mine but the damn glue will NOT come off. ive spent an hr with a blowdryer and goo gone and scraped bits of it off.
but im down to like the portion of glue thats basically hard as a rock and will not come off anymore. i guess ill just have to wait for a repaint =(

and other guy - my car hasnt been solid vinyl for like a year or more. search for some pics or somthing

You can use denatured alchohol, lighter fluid, or acetone (be careful not to get any of these onto the plastic parts of your lights) to remove it. I used acetone to remove the glue for myself. It takes about an hour. Just be careful with it, and it should be fine.
