haha I need it too if someone got it around Salinas/Gilroy area. Sorry to thread jack!

I f*cked up while removing chain guide... I marked the distributor w/ red pen and for some reason.. the mark is gone! Oh.... not to mention one of the screw from chain guide went right into front cover.... I'll try to get it out from drain plug... and if not.... PITA work.. oil pan removal!

alright... i finally managed to buy a timing light and tried to correct it, but it ended up being alot worse. it hesitates when i give it WOT and wont boost right. i downloaded a fsm and followed the directions exactly from www.camel-towing.com

here is what i did:

1.warm up motor to operational temp.
2.i rev'ed the motor for about 2 minutes @ around 2000 rpm's
3.let it idle for 1 minute
4.turned off motor and disconnected the tps.
5.turned it back on and raced teh motor to 2000 rpm's two or three times
6.checked teh timing(clamp is at teh loop in the back/car is idling @ around 800 rpm's)
7.timing was way to the right of the last timing mark on the crank pulley so i correct it by moving the CAS and set it at the second mark from the right(15+-2 degrees btdc)
8.tightened the bolt on the CAS
9. turned car off and reconnected the TPS
10.turned car back on and went for a test drive.(car is very laggy, will not boost properly)

i dont understand what is goin on... please correct me if i missed or messed up on something.

thank you
Anthony
