thats what i've heard too, PSI. ACT makes a good clutch as well. CF sucks the big one so don't get those...

that's what i was wanting to hear because it just so happens that the spec clutches are the cheapest i've found.
hey jay (or anybody else that can answer)......is there really any reason to upgrade clutches if your only putting out as much power as simple bolt ons will give you?

Most of the people I have seen with minor bolt-ons use the Spec Stage 2. They always seem to like it a ot, and claim that the pedal feel is better.

Im really happy with the ACT Street/Strip clutch. It's well worth the money, even if you are bone stock.
Pedal feel is a bit stiffer, but only takes a day or two to get used to. Clutch engagement is very direct, but not so harsh that it will cause a shudder in the drivetrain (4-6 puck types). Power comes on quickly after shifting-- no more of that sloppy/soft/slipping feeling with stock clutches.
The Street/Strip clutches can handle a pretty good amount of horsepower and are very durable.
I have heard of a few issues with the heavy duty pressure plate snapping clutch forks in FD's but that happened on high mileage cars where they went through 100k+ miles of abuse

well i bought the Spec stage 2 clutch this morning from enjuku. the guy i talked to was very helpful. now, if it actually gets to my door when they said it would i'll be extremely happy. i'm hoping the car will be put back together and running properly by this weekend. i'll keep everybody posted.
EDIT: DAMNIT........ken just called and said the spec stage 2 is backordered until the 8th. i don't think i want to wait that long to get the car back. he said he'll give me the stage 3 for the same price, but that there is some slight chattering and i don't know if i want to deal with that or not. now i don't know what i'm gonna do.

you didnt say what you wanted the clutch for or what kind of power youre running, but i have a cosco brand stage I clutch for the s13 ka24E I will sell pretty cheap.
i bought it when i bought my car because the clutch was slipping wildly, and it turned out it wasnt the clutch that was the problem, so its still new in box.
