After racing an svt contour on the I-80 going home east in ohio.. and ripping him a new one since he just barely kept up with me when we started at like 80 and would go to like 135.... we found each other a rest stop...

Man did I laugh, I told him I was running a 4 with cat and intake and nothing else .. boy did he feel dumb for paying 25 grand on an svt contour that just got ripped by a nissan 4 banger.. Blaqsilvia--you beat a SVT Contour with your only mods being a cat and intake? i thought those things were faster than that.
you say you raced from about 80 to 135?? is that mph?? S13 or S14? just curious because i thought all 240's cut off at 120 without another ecu, correct me if im wrong but i know my governor kicks in at about 118-120

he's got an auto, they aren't speed governed as far as i kno.....

about 15 mins after i drove away from the drive-throw.... "wait a min... I don't even drive a prelude anymore...what da hell was there?!?!?!?!?!? prelude?!?!?!?"
Note: I use to drive a 98 prelude before I got my 240.

i'm calling shinanigans on blaqsilvia. especially if he's got an auto. the only way you would have mildly kept up with the SVT is if it wasn't an SVT, or he never got past 4k rpm. those things are fast, and i'm a little sketchy on the 135mph thing.

EDIT: On the SVT Contour thing... When I had my Z28 I raced one in the 1/4 at New England Dragway. I was a newbie dragger, and he hung with me for quite some time... I ran a 14.441 and he ran a 15.607... a little too close for comfort for me. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

about the svt thing...
I work at ford in the service department and drive these things at least once a weeks, and can tell you they are pretty fuking fast! They are way faster my 90fastback, and i sure as hell can't go past 115mph w/out the governer comming on, and i tried staying in forth gear but couldn't get pasted 106mph!

lets just say that if I had an auto, I wouldnt be bragging about racing too much.
Luckily, no one has mistaken it for a probe,@but it seems that everyone thinks it has a six in it for some reason.

LEts put it this way, you guys don't believe I hit 130+? I'll have a friend do a little video or photo shoot.. and you'll see how far down past 120 I'll get my car.. no joke.. and also, the contour was fast.. and yea- i did exaggerrate a little that he was killed.. it was head to head.. but my car does head to head with alot of cars since these ka engines have alot of high end output... oh well.. you people don't believe me for shit, so I'll get photos or a video soon enough..
