Recently received my origin turn lights to put in my URAS bumper from driftfactory. Product arrived just as I expected but now I have a problem.
How do I mount the fixture from my chuki turn signal and what bulb will fit into that tiny hole? To anyone who has these lights, how did you actually fit the lights?
Any help would be appreciated. (searched)

Might help you a little if you told people what car these are for. Origin makes signal and position lights for more than one model you know.
I'm assuming you are talking about 180sx position lights (not signal lights). To use the stock bulbs, you have to cut the hole bigger and do something to hold the bulb in. I would just tape it in or do something of that nature.

Haha, oops my fault. Completely forgot to mention that. Yeah it's for an s13. I just have to figure out exactly how to secure the light now if I drill a bigger hole.....

I think my friend has his position bulb in the middle and drilled another hole on top for the blinker.

figured i'd bump it one more time and see if people had any other thoughts on how to get these bulbs in and make them stay. i don't want to drill a hole in it when I don't have to.

My friend told me he used some sidemarker plug ins for his Kouki bumper.

^Yeah someone I pm'd said the plug for the side marker fits, which it does, however the plug only has two wires coming from it while the turn signal light/plug has three. And the sidemarker and turn light have two different sized plug units so I can't simply plug the side marker plug into the turn signal.
I'll take pictures of the turn light in two seconds....

well u could test the wires with a multimeter, since if u think about it, teh 3 wires are as follows, power, ground, and if im not mistaken the signal wire that allows it to blink, if this is the case, then u can goto a junkyard and get 2 side marker harnesses and just use the power and ground wires friom the front, but dont quote me on that bro.

They are ment to be used as parking lights with an on and off fuction only. Not made to be used as a turn signal thats what the third wire is for. I just got my car back from the shop and they told me the same thing.
I am pretty sure you can rig it up to work somehow, and when you do let me know so I can fix mine

Alright well to just get it in, I used clear package tape to tape the bulb as far in as possible into the housing. The bulb gets hot. Is it dangerous/how stupid is this idea of having the clear package tape on the bulb to keep it in the socket?
The way I have it now at least, it works great. If people tell me that I am a complete fucktard, kicked in the nuts, and have my car taken from me, then I will mill out a hole in the back in the machine shop when I get back to school tomorrow and then duct tape the plastic plug against the housing.

the connectors are s14 kouki turn signals....
the bulbs are the same as well but use usdm s14 kouki stuff and your set... been a while since I have done this one but yeah the correctors can be found at your local dealer... if they know how to look things up they will be able to find them easily so you can test fit it.

It's not that the tape concerns me as far as melting or having the bulb fall off....but rather, I don't want to light my car on fire.
