anyone else running a relatively stock motor blow these things like crazy? I blow out the corner closest to the motor on the right side if you're looking at the drivers side. Second gasket since i blew it the first time, those goddamn nuts love to rattle loose :D

you dont have all the mounts connected on you exhaust, in specific, the trans to the downpipe/cat, this is the one that will keep the t25 from wringling loose. To end the lethal waltz of burnt hands, and stripped 13mm knuts, you MUST MOUNT EVERY MOUNT ON THE EXHAUST.
Also try applying lock washers under the knuts, and dont forget to use the OEM spec, triple layer metal t2 gasket, not the paper/foil composite included in so many crappy kits.
You should be able to notice the leak in exhaust, based on a drop in vacum, usualy from -20 at idle, down to -10 even -5.

yeah i usually just notice a huge difference in exhaust noise.... it gets bad at that point, and overweighs the fact the car's got way less power. I've been running the new gasket after using lockwashers on my flange and elbow pipe for about a week now, no problems. I was just wondering if other people have had the same problem
thanks for the info
