well, i think i have came across a great set of used springs for my 240. they a bit scratched up and have some oxidation on them. well, i want to clean them up a bit, i just want to know if re-powder-coating them, if the coat will chip after they're on the car? spray paint? the only reason i'm thinking of powder-coated them is i want to test out my new powdercoating machine. anybody powdercoated springs before?

powdercoating should hold up the best, and is a great way for u to test out your new machine, so i'd say go ahead and do it. Since spray paint will just chip
