Just won some 300zx hubs on ebay for my s14. Will it bolt straight on F&R? Seller said they had front aluminum uprights for front if needed.
Do you think I will need?
Thanks in advance. Tried searching, but still a lil confused
front no, 300zx NA bolts up on the rear fine. rear aluminum uprights bolt up too.

Right now only thing Im tring to get is my money back lol. When you pay with pay pal how are refunds with sellers most of the time. I used it for the 1st time with this. I also put up a dispute or whatever they call it along with email. Try to catch him before he sends the hubs out.

Heres my question. Say if I spent $200 shipped for all 4 hubs, but I can only use the rear z32's, meaning I need s14 se front hubs. How much more money do you think I can spend for s14 fronts, without this all being a lost. I know it sounds confusing, but Im trying to see how much more I can spend before this hurts more than it helps. Make sense? How much do used 5 lug conversions go for average, so I can have an idea on how much more to spend before Im loosing money. I say average cause I know everyone has a price, but I need a starting point.
Thanks for any help what so ever

Search the For Sale forum. 5-lug conversions pop up all the time.
Also sounds like you are thrifty/poor/on a budget in which case I gotta ask: why are you doing a 5 lug conversion? Even when you get the stuff at the junkyard it still is a bit of money. Specially why are you buying shit without having done the research first?
oh what the hell, hubs ~ $450 for the set used. You'll spend about that amount for the front ones new. And there's still rotors and wheels/tires to think about. And to use the alluminum rear uppers, you'll need coilovers with the Z32 fork end on them.

I'll focus on rotors and wheels and tires when I get all this sorted out. Considering I need new ones soon anyway. No I'm not poor, but I jumped on these thinking I got a deal, and I'm trying to keep it that way if at all possible and I had little time before the auction ended. Yeah normally I would have done some homework, so don't judge me based on that. I've took a chance on my exhaust too, and it was the best thing I ever did. And noone new squat about it when I asked questions on here, yet I took a chance and couldn't be happier. Everyone makes mistakes. Maybe this happens to be one, prolly not my last definitely not my first
Anyways thanks for the help

wtf? why would you buy F&R 300z hubs if you are now asking if they fit? little backwards. I wouldn't give your money back either if you bought them from me.
you need to be humble and not worry about getting your money back. Just chalk it up as a mistake and move on.
Life is a funny teacher, it gives you the test, then teaches you the lesson. :smash:
the good buy would be to buy everything from a salvage yard. I put 5 lug on my s13 and got brakes, spindles/uprights and hubs for 400.00 delivered to my shop!

ARRRH let me explain. I had asked a friend with an s14 if they fit before buying. He said they should so I said okay. So after bidding/paying I did searches on the forums to figure out how install would go. BY luck (Iguess), I happen to find out by looking around they might not work. So then Im confused as to who is right. THEN AND ONLY then did I make my post about if they would work. Be humble? Im not cocky at all never have been, so I don't need an attitude adjustment. Don't think Im better than anyone on these boards. As far as you not giving me the money, don't expect you to because I didn't buy from you. All Im trying to do is make the best of my situation that Im in now. Trying to slavage what I can.
Thanks

^ sounds about what I spent on my first conversion a few years ago.
Takes time but def. cheaper.
btw s13pignose don't take my post as a personal bash,
I just find it irritating that you're asking questions that have been
answered years ago and come up all the time.
Find it hard to believe that the answer couldn't have been found with a simple search.
I just typed "5 lug conversion" in Search and got this
5 lug conversion $350 socal 714 in the fifth result.

No hard feelings to anyone on here. I think zilvia is the greatest place to get answers. Keep in mind I haven't even had my car for a year so Im still learning. I just threw in the question about price while I was at it. Keep it all in one thread ya know.
So it seems safe to say if I stay around 450 Im paying no more than I probably would have paid in first place. Yeah I saw the ones for 350 forsale too, but I've seen em for 4-500 aswell. So thats why I was asking an average
in you guys opinons. Instead of a range

$450 is the average I usually notice and that's what I sold a set for late last year.
