This may be a stupid question but maybe not. I imported at set of Zeal function X (at a great price I might add) and recently installed them. This is my first time installing coilovers myself along with other front suspension components...

Question is...one of the front coilovers (driverside, labeled with a yellow sticker) is reverse threaded. This is what it says in the US manual. My coilovers came with a yellow sticker on one of the coilovers. Ok, so I install that one on the driverside (left) and the other on the right. Then I think, shit I imported these things and they are meant for a Silvia meaning driverside (right). Weird thing is they fit fine the way I have them. The bracket for the brake hose is correct, etc. So should I switch them???

Second question, while test driving everything and settling the suspension before I get it aligned, I noticed the front right coilover making a spring noise when turing the wheel. I'm thinking that the preload from the Zeal factory setting is pretty weak...should I adjust it a full turn to see if it goes away??

Thanks

Sounds like you answered your own question.

If the brake line bracket allows the line to move, and swivel about without binding you've got it installed right.
