Why you want something super load at high rpms is beyond me. That is a perfect way for a cop to hear and pin point you if you are hauling a$% through traffic or something. But anyways to answer your queston I have the gp sports on my s14 sr. It is very deep at idle but not to loud but when you get to high rpms it should definately be loud enough for you. Its pretty similar in sound I think to a circuit car so if thats what your looking for you might want to look into the gp sports exhaust. I personally didn't want something super load due to cops in my area but I have been through three exhaust due to canister rattle so I said to hell with a canister:ghey: . Sorry I dont have a sound clip but you should be able to find one somewhere. Good luck. Cameron

well i havent had cop trouble in a while now and i dont speed to offten anymore so yeah i heard a blue s14 a while back with a silent/ deep exhaust at idel but that thing was loud but had a deep bass sound and back fiering like crazy at high rpms so yeah looking for something like that ... but besides the silence on my hks i love it sound, size and doesnt rattle at all .... but jst looking for something diff.

i have the apexi dual n1 on a NA s13. at idle its pretty quiet but once you touch the gas it starts getting noticable and at full throttle and high RPM's its screams. but its a nice deep sound i love the sound. but it can draw some unwanted attention from the piggys even when your just daily driving. but if you drive slow and not accelerate too fast it can stay quiet enough. sry i dont have a vid clip.

^ yeah, the n1 dual is pretty loud at high rpms with a nice deep rumble at idle. i have the replica with 3" turbo extension, down pipe and test pipe. its VERY loud at redline.

do you have a ka na, ka-t, sr20det? sr20de?
Most exhuast 3in+ piping on a ka(na) is pretty quiet @ idle and loud @ WOT
Most bolt on cat-back on a turbo car is quiet.
Loudest is straight through straight pipe greddy dd style .
Last and not least the term quiet and loud is different for different people. I think most exhaust are quiet because I always had an exhaust on a car since I was 16 and I am now 24. 8 years worth of exhaust tone in my ears daily driving and I do not even hear it any more.

um.. it depends if your turbo or not. I imagine if you are ka and at 65mm then bump it up to 85mm. However if you are turbo then run open downpipe haha. Nah but if you are turbo then go to apex gt spec. Its 3.74 inch piping so it should be loud as hell.

Flowmaster Delta Flow 40 series, with a turbo tube (really big resonator). I had it on my KA and it was quiet, but when you gunned it it was loud enough and it sounded AWESOME. No fart can whatsoever, It sounds very agressive an powerfull.

i got a RSR exmag, gutted cat and greddy downpipe. For what everyone is saying that RSR is quiet its actually quite loud and sounds incredible in high rpms. Real deep tone at idle to. Getting rid of the catalytic made a HUGE difference in sound, much louder.

Make your whole exhaust system stainless steel from the manifold all the way to the tip. It resonates more and will make things a lot louder at full throttle. Plus, it won't rust and will last longer. Here's my post from another thread about my exhaust.
This is my custom exhaust that my dad and I made.

Full stainless no resonator/muffler. 3" piping into Y coming off to two 2.5" pipes. Fully tig welded with mitre bends. I made this video for this thread. I reved up to about 4500 and this is with a turbo baffling the sound. When the wastegate cracks open, this beast is a whole another animal. While I made this video, I had every dog from miles away barking at me. AHAHAHAHA.
Here is what it sounds like on the track with the wastegate open.

This is in a wideopen space and camera isn't exactly close to my car. On the street, it will sound much louder. I would recomend this exhaust to everyone on the planet other than people that daily drive their cars in california or in other states where you can get an exhaust ticket. Driving back from the track, I shift at like 2500 because it is that loud. Cops from a city over will come and give you a ticket for an exhaust like this. It's super cool though.

Just get a stainless downpipe and a stainless turbo manifold off ebay. Your exhaust will sound much better.

It's the silencer that you need to remove. I too have an hks hi-power(65mm) on my s13n/a kade and it only got louder after the silencer was removed and I welded a straight pipe in it's place. Im thinking of just removing the can at the end too and just having a 1 piece pipe from the header back.

run an electric cutout
yo flybert- im guessing you're running an sr? i love the sound, just like a Dart Izumi. by the way, i really nice quiet exhaust is the HKS Super Dragger, pricey as hell, but def. worth it if u dont want cops all over u. if u get on it, it'll scream and backfires like crazy. if anyone wants i can get a sound clip.
