Was putting a strut bar on my buddies car. I was using a regular wrench and everything was going good till i decided to use my snap on torque wrench which i didnt set up. Well i ended up snaping the strut mounting insulator stud.
He wants to drive it like that because its his daily driver should i slap him or what. Anyone know how long it takes to replace one. Oh and the FAST part number :D?
Thanks.

Just one on the driver side. I guess but he has a grippy suspension setup i'll just tell him to chill it while i find out how to fix it.

Just replace the whole mount either with stock or pillowball mounts.

Btw while we are on topic i have a chance to pick up some cusco pillowball plates for $100 but its the same thing with those they are missing all the studs and the spacer. How would i go about getting those?
Thanks.

If the insulator is ok, replace the stud. You will need to remove the whole strut assembly but dont even think to remove the nut holding the spring perch without a spring compressor!!

The studs are really easy to replace a trip to Auto zone to get the right stud and nut, then a trip to a welder to just tack weld the stud back to the mount, its super easy!!!!!!

I replaced the studs in one of my cuscos. I don't really remember exactly what I used but I'm pretty sure it was a wheel stud from a parts store. The spacer is a bunch of nothing so you can just make one. I have to pull my plates this weekend so I'll measure them while their out and post it.
edit:
Ok here ya go:

The spacer (top right) is 11/16ths tall. The outside diameter is 7/8ths and the inside diameter is 17/32nds.
