I just got Rockbox on my iPod. I have to say its pretty cool. I just have some difficulty navigating through the menu. I wish there were an easier way to browse the music. Anyone running this want to give me some tips?

Don't own an ipod, what's the purpose of this firmware upgrade? Run other codecs besides H264? Higher resolution support? I'm assuming it's for video Ipod.

I actually have a nano. My biggest rant is about the playlist/audio browsing. wish it were easier, still trying to get the hang of it. In other news I got doom installed on it been playing it all day at work. It's great.

*Shameless Plug* Download my theme! http://www.zero-17.net/page7/page7.html You get used to the menu interface after a while. To me it's natural now. I try to use Rockbox controls in Apple FW and in Linux. A tad annoying? Yes, but RockBox owns...

Edit: There may be a patch to make more iPod-like controls, but it would require you to compile the source with the new patch. I can't compile, well I can, it's just that compiling things on a Mac for a software based around a Windows format doesn't work out so well. Look through the wiki and see if there's a patch and then go to the forum and ask somebody making "experimental builds" to add and compile it for you... or you could just get used to RockBox controls ;)
