my setup is s13 redtop s15 turbo, intake, 3 inch exhaust and downpipe. walbro fuel pump stock boost at 7.5psi.

Well basically like the title states i have a melting spark plug problem. it started about a year ago and basically my spark plug and coilpack just melted out of no where. exhaust fumes were all over my valve cover. only 2 threads left on the head for the spark plug to grab.

for one year i drove with a new spark plug and new coilpack on 2 threads and it finally gave out again last week. i have another coilpack and spark plug in it, but like before i knew it wasnt gonna last. so what im wondering is what is causing this problem. some people tell me its wiring. pretty much the only thing i can think of also. but if you guys have ever heard of this lemme know cuz it melted my spark plugs twice and i will post pics soon of them so u know what im talking about.

also the car bogs every once in awhile around 3500 when the turbo starts to spool itll get up to 4-5 lbs of boost then drop to zero and run through the gear with no boost or full boost but hits at like 5500.

The head thread prob could be very much related. However if you also killed a coil and melted it, it could easily be a wiring prob.

Do you have any pics of the "melting"

Also which area melted?

A spark plug conducts heat away from it through the metal into the head. If it's not engaging enough it won't properly dissapate heat and can get too hot. Also if it's not sealing it could just be burning out from the combustion. I wanna see pics!

lets see it! i'd almost do away with it if it was me. Sr20de distributor, Ka24e harness, and your Ka24 sent to JWT and a reflash buddy had the first distributor program running ka untouched harness and a distributor. it was the f'ing shizzle!
