hey every one im having problems with a motor transplant i have done.
it is a nissan laurel c33 and the motor is a sr20det from a facelift s14 silvia.
here is a list on mods done to the motor before i start so you have some idea of whats going on.
# s14 facelift sr20det black top
# 5 speed
# top mount manifold
# t3/t4 500 hp turbo
# bradied oil lines
# 38mm external wastegate running i think a 7psi spring
# 10mm fuel lines
# fuel psi reg
# wrx fuel pump
# 12 inch eletric fan
# 50mm bov
# 600x300x75 intercooler
# oil catch tank
# s14 facelift ecu and loom cut down to only wires needed
# pod filter
# has a 2.5 inch exhust go down the car till half way then goes into a standard exhust for the moment.
ok now the problem. it starts fine every time. has a littie miss at about 3g i carnt firgure out why.
also it doesnt like boost what so ever every thing ive try nothing will fix it.
it has 14 volts at the ecu when running good voltage at the fuel pump as well. fuel reg is set to 38psi with vacume line off im stumped? what could it be it does have cheapish plugs in it tho must i run platnums.:hammer: :hammer:

already checked for boost leaks coundt find any thing.
i run a cheap plug and gap them and also change them more often. but what should the gap be at?
if my coil packs are rooted im going to convert to a wated spark setup

I had misfire at 3 grand, ended up being a coilpack. New pack made the car run like a CHAMP.

how much boost are you running? That exhaust isnt going to flow enough to push a lot of boost, also your injectors may not flow enough. Keep in mind that the t3/t4 flows a lot more air than the t25 at the same psi.

is your computer retuned for your set up (rom tune)
did you up your injectors
sounds like the problem is a half assed setup imo
gotta get a rom tune AT LEAST
gotta up your injectors
and im assuming your air flow meter can handle the power upgrades too.

there is no mods to justify a retune. its running less boost than standard at the moment. intercooler and fpr it should atlest be able to drive with boost but it doesnt.

larger turbo = more cfm, less psi than stock turbo.
bogging at 3k, maybe your maf. Take pictures of your settup and post them. YOU NEED a retune btw.
