so i was drifting and crashed into a curb sideways
fixed most of the stuff (mostly bent control arms and tie rods)
got new alignment, everything looks good

just one thing:
when i turn the steering wheel all teh way to the left it barely comes back, usually just stays there
and when i turn it to teh right it comes back most of teh way...

any idea on what to tweak or do i need new steering rack?

thanks

sometimes this problem is attributed to the upper strut mount but your case is somewhat different. hmm, it could be the rack but I doubt it.

If its a steering rack problem, you should feel difference when steering in as well as the wheel coming back on that side.

i doubt its a problem with your steering rack. It sounds like an alignment problem but you said you had your car aligned. Does it feel aligned?

yeah it feels aligned and goes straight but steering feels different than before
the front left wheel alignement is a little off but thats because the tie rod is slightly bent (i dont think thats the problem but ill be replacing it this week)
the weird thing is liek there is a range, about 180 degrees (half full turn) to teh left and to the right, where you turn teh wheel and it stays in that position until you turn it back to center
