KA TRANNY PROBLEM..what do you guys think?

Ok its a 98 kat with light flywheel and act clutch. the trans NEVER grinds, shifts good and is not slipping...however I noticed that only under full thottle and going to shift into 4th it dosent want to go in. its only happend 3 times, and only into 4th when realy moving. maybe 2 times at a light it dident want to gointo 1st and that was a while ago..I dont see any leaks and the fluid is full and clean....

Difficulty getting into first gear happens. Just go back into neutral, then go back to first if it's hard to get into gear. Fourth gear difficulty, i havent encountered yet. Your clutch is all the way down?

oh yeh the clutch is down. this happend the last 3 times i raced. the fluid is full and this is only at high rpm, under 5k shifts fine.

sorry i dont have the answer, but someone let me know if they know what that is because i get that same effect on my tranny but shifting from 1st to 2nd at above 5k, maybe tranny is going bad, which i could imagine on mine cuz its kinda old...haha.

Shift Forks or the clutch is not working properly. Bleed the clutch. If this does not fix it, inspect the clutch and throw out bearing assembly and change the fluid. If this does not fix it, get your free inspection at AAMCO. Then change the trans.
