Hey i need help removing a s14 power window regulator and installing it. I looked at the FSM and couldn't find any help on removing it. Does anyone know how to remove and install it?

if you mean the white box thing, remove the door panel. its held in by two bolts. if u mean the regulator aka the scissor thing that moves the window up and down, read on.

i actually did this just 2 weeks ago. are u replacing just the motor, or the tracks? :madfawk: it was such a bitch ill be honest with you. i learned a few lessons.. mark with an xacto blade or utility blade where the umm.. the fuzzy things on top of the door are. they hold the window at certain angles and wat not. mark around the 12 or 14mm nuts, i cant remember. remove them, there should be 3-4. theres also an adjustment midway on the door, more towards the rear of the car.. 2 nuts. one non adjustable, one adjustable. remove those two nuts. two nuts hold the window to the regulator. REMOVE THEM. its easier to do all this without the window being attached. to do so, make sure the window is in the all the way down position when u start doing all this. after that, push it up, and take it out. 4 bolts hold the motor, they should be centered around it. ok, from there in.. EVERYTHING is loose. btw, watch your hands. i was bleeding a lot when i did the swap. pull the regulator and motor through the top of the window. i spent like an hour trying to figure out which way the motor went back in haha. so look in as MUCH as you can when the window is out to try an remember. worst case, mirror what the other door is like. its like a scissor.. soo... you know. when ur installing it all back in, put those fuzzy thingys in the same position u marked with a blade. :ughd: lemme know which one of these two u ment haha as there are two parts called the "regulator" by nissan.

I am replacing just the regulator and motor because my other door is missing a regulator with a broken cable.

S14s are not cable driven. That's the first error here.
Secondly, the regulator does not come out the top on an S14, it drops out the bottom opening at the back edge of the door.
Unbolt the window, raise it up to the top, then unbolt and remove the regulator. It's painfully obvious if you just look at it.
And the 'white box' is NOT called a regulator, it's an amplifier.
