quick question, could somone tell me, stock 240 fuel system uses 5/16" hose, is that 5/16" outer diameter, or inner? if its the outer diameter, what is the inner? 1/4"? thanks
id measure but i dont wanna spray gas all over

An easy way to find out is to go to your local auto parts store and find the fuel filter on the shelf. Any S13 or Z32 filter will do. Take it out of the box and go to the fuel hose section. Find whichever size that will slip on and not slip off without force.

8mm is the inner diameter, which is .315" (basically 5/16").

Yeah, it's the inner. Since that's what is of importance.
The outer can vary slightly depending on manufacture and purpose.

You should use fuel hose and no other type of hose for carrying fuel.
