btw, you tottaly f'd up the install on that... by lookin at your bolts. theres alot on info and pics how to un and re-install cam caps.

all bolts on the camshaft brackets must be removed in a specific order and reinstalled in a specific order. Even the bolts that are not used to bolt down the rocker arm stoppers. Refer to your FSM for proper torque and bolting down procedure.

i did remove them in the specific order and they were all loosened all the way, i jus didnt take the inside ones completely out..also i torqued them all in the order to 8lbs..thanks though

sorry to be off topic but did u have a hard time putting the valve cover back on?

not really, the throttle cable kept getting in the way but i just got a friend to hold it up while i put it on

lol. So hows ur sr holding up these days? My blown ka is gettin the boot, for an s13 blacktop im getting for dirt cheap. If its in good condition, even if i have to replace the turbo, have the head re-worked or whatever... as long as the internals arent trashed, im still ahead of the game.

mine is good, just do a compression check on the motor before you buy it. glad to hear you found one though....my brothers (zenkislider) will be running tomorrow hopefully, we rebuilt the motor and got it in today, so tomorrow is finishing up the wiring and doing the fluids...

Wiring takes all of what, like 5 minutes? thats the simple part of the install IMO. Im good at repairing/extending/soldering wires...

You guys do know that ka's don't have rocker arms.
Let alone rocker arm stoppers.
