Need to identify a couple of unmatched harnesses.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d628b3127cce8bea4579b67700000016108AauWzNo3atv

Photo 1: I have 3 unpaired ends here. They come from the grouping of wires that go to the center console. Rule out head unit/radio, hvac control, and wires that go to the glove box. Looking at the FSM, thinking they're something between M32 and M35 but I'm not sure...

Photo 2 (looking up underneath steering wheel): One unpaired harness from the grouping of wires that go to the steering column. All have been plugged into the column except for this one. Rule out instrument cluster. Any ideas on this one? Is that M27?

Thanks in advance...

First pic is the climate control head, all three, there's a subharness it plugs into. Second is hard to tell but looks like the ignition switch.

closer photo of the three...i found which three go to the climate control unit (see pic). do you have any photos of the subharness you're talking about?

here's a closer pic of the one that is hanging from the column. everything is mated up on the steering column and no open harnesses. ?

Forget about the one that is hanging from the steering column. It went to the indicator harness.

As for the three that are in the center console. I found a harness with a green and brown wire where the small plug of the three connects to. It is the plug that is activated once the temperature setting is moved all the way to "cold." The other two are still hanging there.

Is it possible that these two are just left unpaired? Maybe that were meant for the digital climate control? Not sure but get back to me...thanks.

The only plug I know that has the foam on it is for the gauge cluster. I'll look at wire colours and let you know.

all instrument cluster harnesses have been separated from this particular set. The rest of the harness is connected to the HVAC units and controls, so the two should be connected to something in the HVAC system...

This is the front wiper and washer combination switch.

Please post the wire colours on the other 3 connectors. It's not clear from the picture.

You said to eliminate the cluster harness, but be aware that the gauge cluster is actually a Y, and it has 2 connectors going into the cluster, which stems into a W.

The only connector on my body harness that has the foam on the connector was the cluster harness, seen below in the bottom right.

I can take a pic later today if I make it to the shop. The US cars are not prewired for digital climate or anything else additional, there's just a harness that plugs into the climate control head directly and then into the dash harness.

That's right. It's just one plug for the fan speed, and one for the mode door selector/ac/fresh air door.

i'll be looking for an open slot on the dash harness somewhere. i'm sure the subharness photo will help out.

but of the three connectors, the smallest one is connected to an open harness that is attatched to the bottom of the climate control unit. as stated before it is a green and brown wire. is that the proper connection?

when i get home from work i'll take closer photos of the 3 open harnesses so we can match wire colors...

I really have no idea where they're supposed to go.

Is your car originally a Canadian model? Do you have cruise control? HICAS?

It would really help if you can grab those 3 harnesses and follow them back into the harness. If you could find out where they stem from, like which harness they branch off of, that would help a lot.

Cruise and HICAS wouldn't matter. I'll take a pic tommorrow.

All the harnesses that stem from particular grouping go to other HVAC components. With the exception of the glove box light and radio...
Tnx for the input
