I know this sounds like such a lame thing to ask, but me and 3 other people tried to get in there to change out the bulbs, couldn't do it, you gotta have tiny hands, and so i decided to try and take the lights out all together....how do you get the stupid little grill outta there!? ii can undo the top part but unsnapping the bottem three? wtf? how? anyone know what do here.
Also on a somewhat related note, anyone know what can be done to our plastic headlights to take the yellowing of bugs and wear and what not off to get the plastic back to it clean bright look? sanding or some solvent? -TIA

Well I have just changed my bulbs you do not have to have little hands to do it. What you do is first upplug it the light you will have to wiggle it from side to side to do this. once you get the plug off unscrew the plastic rubber holder then pull the rubber off. once the rubber is off there is a metal clamp "if you will" that you have to squeeze together to pop off. Once you remove that you will beable to remove the bulb. then replace the bulb and do the steps in reverse order. Hey West that is a good write up I will do it.

Also I had problems with the brakes.

silviasichigo, what year car do you have? It sounds a whole lot different than my headlight removal.

240racr I have a 95 with the plastic Zenki headlights.
My Silvia (http://community.webshots.com/user/silviasichigo)

Tyler D I had initially planned to use moutain bike cable to run the small gap between the Silvia cable and the drum hook up for the 32 rotor/hub assy. well I wnet to my brother in law and found out when he does this swap out evrything is bolt up except the e brake so he told me to get the Z32 or the skyline e-brake cable and replace the 14 cable it is a little longer and it already has the hardware to hook up.
