Computer networking ? CSC (career study cert->associates?)

Anybody do computer networking here? Its definitely something that interests me,I was trying to get some opinions from people about it. At a local community college,they offer a career study cer (CSC) for 3 semesters,and that(hopefully) will l get me a entry level networking position,and I should be able to transfer the credits to get my associates!?

Anyway,just looking for any opinions,thanks for your time

It can be an iffy field to get in. I know alot of people in the field who are having a hard time finding work. Personally I'm in Network Security and I don't hate it. lol. I speak decent Japanese so I was able to nab a job with a company out of Osaka. They basically toss me around the prefecture to a number of companies who "outsource" for their tech support.
