connecting rod question

Hi all, I am currently rebuilding the SR20 engine in my 240. I am planning on using a set of Eagle H beam rods and a new set of JE pistons. The new rods do NOT have the same oil squirter in it as the stock rods. I phoned Eagle. Spoke to some loser who said "it does not matter.... we know what we are doing" The also he went on to say some people drill the new rod to make an oil squirter and others don't. Hence my delema..... Any Ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I believe if you measure the width of the rod vs stock you'll find that the eagle is a couple of thousandths smaller. It generates the same effect using sling lubrication. Atleast that was their explanation years ago. I wouldn't drill holes.
